Bella Bianca was proud to participate in Brides Across America.
Bella Bianca was proud to team up with the national charitable organization Brides Across America by donating couture wedding gowns to military brides. In celebration of the Memorial Day holiday, we honored military brides by giving away gowns designed by Lazaro, Ines di Santo, Reem Acra, Simone Carvalli, San Patrick and other prominent designers.
The event took place in our boutique. Doors opened at 11 a.m. and brides were serviced on a first-come, first-serve basis. Brides are encouraged to come early and secure their place in line. The gowns donated were valued between $1,200 and $8,000 and range from a bridal size 10 to 14. In addition, Bella Bianca will raffle-off items donated from its accessory vendors each hour during the event.
In order to qualify, brides or their fiancé must be on active duty in the military, either currently deployed or deployed within the last five years to Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Libya or Japan. Identification and deployment papers must be presented at the event to qualify.
